Аннотация |
With the development of more powerful video conferencing systems, new dimensions are also opening up for blended learning. In the case of video conference-supported virtual classrooms, there is a shift from predominantly asynchronous distance learning to primarily synchronous auditory-visual interaction in which the most varied of sources can be integrated, starting with digitized textbooks linked to learning management systems (LMS), language learning web portals, online self-learning exercises up to documents, videos, podcasts, presentations, chats, mailings, padlets, photo albums, etc. A powerful video conference system is Google Meet, which is linked to Google Classroom and other Google apps and is therefore suitable for work in the virtual classroom (UK). Video-based teaching and learning in the virtual classroom has a number of special features compared to face-to-face teaching that must be taken into account if the teaching is to be successful. These special features are introduced in the present article. It also becomes clear that blended learning in its current form changes the roles of learners and teachers compared to previous lessons and also requires considerable media competence on both sides. |
